Make Money Online gurus in Nepal make a fool out of people

Make Money Online Trends have spread like a jungle fire and people everywhere in the world, even in the least developed countries have started acknowledging it. In my country Nepal, the ones who spend time on the internet, not just on the social networks, know less or more about it. But the ones who aren't into internet, i.e. the people who rely on cyber cafes for surfing the internet occasionally don't know much about making money online. But at the same time, some organizations here in Nepal have been ruling the newspaper ads since long, boasting of surefire ways to make money online and a minimum of $500 income monthly from it. Well you might be thinking they must be the webmasters, who know every inch of SEO, Blogging and tricks to monetize the site. If that is the case then let me laugh at you. These are the people who know nothing and if I were a beauraucrat, I'd have surely fired laws against them.

Well to be true, I had also been one of the victims. It was more than a year ago. I used to see the advertisements on newspaper and then one day, made up my mind to go visit them. When I got there, I saw a whole bunch of people already flocking to the place. That relieved me more as I began believing that what they claimed about making money online was true. I didn't know anything about SEO, Blogging or Adsense then, not a bit. They made me pay their fees beforehand and charged me around $25(Rs. 2000 Nepali). The organization was known as "onlinejobpoint". They said that the training would last for about a week and I'd be trained with every skill for making money online and becoming a decent earner.

I regularly went to the place for about a week they showed me many things which I was totally unaware of at that time. I was getting delighted to have learned so many things and when the training was over, I began following what they had told. But weeks and months passed, but I had not made a single penny. I got desperate and then began reading Make Money Online blogs and googling up terms related to making money online. I eventually learned that what I had been trained was a bullshit, horseshit!

Let me tell you, what I they trained me throughout the session. They had tempted me with an offer saying that they'd give me a website for free. I also got excited about it as I was believing that it was something people pay huge sums for. The very first day, they gave me my website, a blogspot blog. lol. They registered an account for me, just before me. They took me to a site called AdultFriendFinder. They then signed me up for that as well(treating me as if i didn't even know how to sign up) and then showed how to copy the Javascript code and paste it into the blog's widget.

What they told about blogging is immensely sardonic. They said that I just needed to copy any article from Wikipedia that interested me, open it in FrontPage editor and remove the inernal links and finally paste the source code. That was what they told about making a site, precisely a blog. Isn't that alarming? Next they told about Adsense and how to insert it in blogs via widgets which was probably the only thing that I found a little useful than nothing.

Next was my training on getting traffic to my blog. Well let me remind you one thing, all that time I was purely believing them like an infatuated lover as I didn't know anything about all those stuff back then. They said that I should join Yahoo chat rooms, be online most of the time and then send the link to people asking to visit my blog. This was one technique. Next they asked me to join free advertising sites and publish ads on them for free. Those were sites looking like those classified newspaper ad section. I did that as well. Next they gave me an insight on SEO. SEO meant all about submitting a site to Google in their words. They told me about Google's site submitting page http://www.google.com/submit_content.html and made me into believing that once I submitted it in google, I would start getting lots of visitors from Search Engines. I had been such a poor guy and when I remember those days, I literally laugh at myself.

When nothing came my hand, I started researching the internet and looking for stuff related to SEO, Making Money Online, Blogging etc. I then gradually realised what a fool I had been. But at least I was happy for it was better late than never. This is the story of every such people in Nepal who get entangled into such scam networks of people who know nothing and yet boast of knowing everything. Well this wasn't meant to hurt anyone but debunking such fake Make Money Online gurus was necessary.
